Clicked on Spot Replay in the menu - TF locked up - can not even use Task Manager to kick it out of memory. I do have a Spot unit, but no replays. ill have to rebbot to get rid of TF.

No! I assume your computer was connected to the internet still at the time, since you are posting here!
I'll see if I can duplicate that, but, shoot.
-
Tried it again after rebooting - locked up tight again - Task Manager says "not responding" - it can not be ended....
-
Thanks for giving it another try.
If you still have some patience, try downloading (or re-downloading) one of the GIS layers (any one of them) in Window -> GIS Layers. That uses the same code to download a file from topofusion.com, so might tell me if there's some problem there.
I have your (recent) .ini file, so I tried loading up your settings, but the SPOT replays still work like a charm for me.
Will have to try on another computer.

No Problem downloading GIS Layers - tried one I had and one I didn't have.......
I then tried "Spot Replays" again and it now opened the window to do the downloads - again, go figure!
-
So did the SPOT Replay dialog work this time, or did it pull up the GIS downloads window?
-
It seemed to download the spot data, as I now get the "trackleaders Spot Interface" window (didn't get that last night). I did click on one of the Spot items and selected "Load Spot Data" and it started downloaded data- I don't want it on my machine, so I did stop it.

OK, great, thanks.
The data is only stored in memory, not saved out, so no worries there. Well, actually the route file and .csv are saved right now (need to change that) but they are very small. The actual SPOT histories are never saved out.
