The new OpenAerial maps are just spectacular. I'm going to enjoy this new additition immensely, thank you.
Could we have a keyboard shortcut for this layer please?
Like the C for color or B for black and white, M for MyTopo, T for topo, etc.
That would make switching to the new maps easier.
Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.

Sure. I'm adding "Y" for Open Cycle... and... we are running out of letters, so 'Q' for Open Aerial.
Glad you find them useful. Curious - do you find them better resolution/quality than the 'color' tileset? Or just that they load faster?

Scratch that... I'll take over "I" for Open Aerial. It used to be Tiger, but that tileset is defunct now.

The difference in the resolution quality of the OpenAerial tiles is far better than that of either the Color tileset or the State of Utah Alternate tileset.
I'm always planning trips or going over tracks and trips I have taken looking for hidden gems to explore in the Moab, UT area of the southwestern canyon country, and the difference that I saw in visual resolution and crispness and detail of the OpenAerial tileset over either of the existing color tilesets was startling. It really is a lot better.
They seemed to load quickly. But even if they were slower, the better quality would still make them worth it.
Thanks for adding this for us :)

Great, thanks for the feedback. Everywhere I have looked (not UT) it has been very similar to the color set, but obviously not everywhere!
