Title: '3D' toolbar button gets out of sync

In 1.65, if you press the '3' key when the focus isn't in the map display pane (e.g., in the file list) the '3D' toolbar button changes state but no 3D map is drawn.  At this point the button has been reversed: In for 2D, out for 3D.

BTW, do you guys prefer a separate topic for each minor issue, or should I save them up?

Yep, the 3D toggle just "does its best" at trying to stay in sync.  There are still a couple of things that can throw it off.  We'll have to work on it for the next version.

Separate topics for bugs is great.  That way we can reply once we've taken care of them.

If you've got suggestions/ideas, those would probably be best saved up into one topic.  Thanks!
