I have been looking at the for two days now but the manual is really not very good. How do you generate a click-able imagemap like is showen in the examples? How do you chooe which program you want to view your picture in? When you generate a HTML ImageMap where is it save and how do you open it?

Hi,

Did you read this page (pointed to by the user manual) :

http://www.topofusion.com/photofusion.php

It gives directions for using PhotoFusion.   The HTML Imagemap is saved in the "Destination Directory" that's right next to the "Genereate HTML Imagemap" button.  It'll be an .htm file, so if you double click on it, your browser should open it.

As for the program used to view images, it's up to Windows.  Whatever program you have associated with .JPG will open.  I use ACDSee, personally, since it displays quickly and remembers zoom/fit settings.

Good luck.

Hi Scott. Sorry for the comments. I do appericate your email. I do think TopoFusion is a good program.

Scott: but I don't agree with your ascertation about features.
MY reply: I didn't mean to imply anything negative about the features. I think they are great.

Scott: (are you sure you're looking at the right page?)
My reply: Good question? Would be so kind as to point me the the right page.

BTW I just purchased TopoFusion after looking at many others.

Carl

Hi,

The user manual is at:

http://www.topofusion.com/manual.php

I think perhaps your confusion is with this list of features:

Advanced features (described on separate pages):

3D visualization
The logbook feature
Climbing Analysis
Difficulty and Effort index

Image Processing / Combo Maps
PhotoFusion - Auto placement of photos on tracks
Simplifying and Interpolating Data
Multi-Track Playback

Each of those goes to a separate page, so it's not just a list of features, but a list of links to pages explaining them.

In any case, glad you like the program and thanks for registering.
