Error loading user map???
« on: December 20, 2007, 04:56:38 PM »
After deleting some map files from the Map Pictures folder, Topofusion tries to load these deleted files as a default everytime I start the program.  How can I keep this from hapening?

There are entries in the TopoFusion.ini file for each user map, under the [User Maps] section.  You should be able to find and delete them there.

I'll see about adding a "remove user map" option to that error message.

Yes, that seems to have fixed the problem.

As I will be using TopoFusion for specific projects all over the country, it would be very helpful to have each of these locations and their associated files separate for each project.

To have the ability to readily remove the files once the project is complete would be ideal.

Thanks

It's pretty easy to remove all user maps when you are done.  Just open up the dialog and hit "Remove Map" on each one.  Or, simply uncheck them - and they will no longer be loaded when you start the program.  You can then delete the files w/o any error messages popping up.
