Program loads but won't initiate

I appear to have successfully downloaded and installed but get no response when opening program.  Hourglass clicks on momentarily but then nothing!  Any ideas?  I am running on cable modem and have Norton AntiVirus installed but have shut it off with no change.  Also running SpyBot and AdAware.  The only thing I can think of is some setting somewhere is stopping it from running.  Any ideas?'<img'>

Looks like I got it to finally work by disabling Norton.

Thanks for getting back on this one.  I wonder why norton would stop it from running.  It does try to access the internet, but not until it's loaded up, and it should just not allow the http access.

I can't imagine why an anti-virus software would not allow it to run.
