Problem with Profile Elevation
« on: September 20, 2005, 12:35:45 PM »
Everything seems to be working OK; however, the y-axis which shows the elevation has 0 ft near the top of the graphical display window and drops to -104999 ft near the bottom of the window.  Nothing shows in the window since I'm above 0 ft.  How do you adjust the y-axis to move 0 ft to the bottom of the window?

I don't work for TopoFusion, but the charts are automatically scaled based on the maximum and minimum values in your track log.

Sometimes GPS's get confused and store a point of data that is way off, maybe you have one point in your track log with a value of -104999ft?

just guessing

That's the most likely explanation.

If you can, send the .GPX file that causes this to:

smorris@topofusion.com

I'll take a look.
