out and back options on a loop trail
« on: March 27, 2005, 04:07:03 PM »
hey

i do loop rides primarily.  once and a while there is a 'scenic overlook' or something where you ride out a piece of trail or road, check something out, then return back to the loop by the same piece of trail or road.

is there any way to manipulate the data in TF?  I generally turn of the GPS once at the scenic spot so i don;t repeat the gps data.

it would be cool to designate a piece of trail as 'two way'

Well, have you looked at the network options?  If you don't turn the GPS off you can clean up the data after using the network stuff.

An out and back can also easily be deleted by drawing a box around it and hitting the delete key.

I'm not sure what you mean by designating it as two way?  Aren't all trails two way?  OK, almost all...
