New to Topofusion - a couple of questions
« on: June 12, 2007, 08:07:11 AM »
Hello there,

I 'm new to Topofusion (just yesterday I downloaded the demo) but it seems I was the unlucky one.
It seems that the server is down. I can't get elevations. But neither tiles. Is the TerraServer up and running? I keep having the error message saying that the server is down or about the firewall. I don't have any firewall active and I can't get any data.
Should I have the tiles but not the elevation?
Is there something wrong with my computer's configuration?

Thanks,
Hope NASA will bring the server up soon...

New to Topofusion - a couple of questions

Hi,

Yep, poor timing with the downtime.  Terraserver, however, is still up and running just fine.  So you should be able to get topo and aerial tiles.

Try this: open up TF, and switch to one of the Topo tilesets.  You may still get an error message about the server being down.  But that's because it was trying to download landsat tiles.

Now close TF and open it back up.  As long as you stay in a topo or aerial tileset, you shouldn't get any messages about the server being down.

Hoping to get an update about the server's status soon.
