Hi!

Great program, at the moment I'm testing demo version.

I'm trying to test Log book, but it does not work.. the error message is:

Run-time error ''13:
Type mismatch

I'm using Garmin eTrex Legend (download was ok).

That's odd. Try deleting the file 'TFlog.csv' from your tracks directory (likely C:\Program Files\TopoFusion). That should get rid of any bogus values or strings in there.

You can add any files you want to the log from the logbook dialog.

Hi!

I don't have TFlog.csv file on that directory.

The problem starts and shuts down the aplication, when I just click in menu on Analysis --> Log Book. I tried on two computers and the same problem.

So that's what that file is for! Oops! I've been deleting those whenever I'm in a housekeeping mood thinking they were just error log files. I guess my logbook is sort of incomplete now. I do regular backups, so maybe I can piece a new logbook file together again.

You can always regenerate your logbook simply by reloading all the files you want to be included, and then hitting the "add all loaded files to logbook" button.

Some cut n' paste from backups might be easier, though.

As to the original topic, it sounds like the program is having trouble opening / creating the .csv file, since it isn't showing up. Do you have permission to create/write files in the default tracks directory ?

I found that option... thanks. Â I'm going to open all of them! Â Am I in for a big delay? Â Will TF create duplicate logbook entries?

It does have some checks for duplicates. I'm not sure what criteria it uses for duplicates though -- probably filename + path.

It should be OK to load up a few thousand files. I've done it quite a few times. Display speed may suffer if you try to pan around in an area where most of your data is. If you're far away, it should work OK.

Worked fine. Â Plenty fast (a few seconds tops). Â Didn't notice any duplicates. Â I'll stop deleting the log file now. Â Thanks!
