Installation of version 2.60
« on: June 18, 2005, 02:03:36 PM »
I just downloaded version 2.60 and when I went to install it I was told to delete the version I have. Is this correct? I don't seem to remember that from a previous upgrade I did.

If I uninstaal the version I am running and then install version 2.60 will the system remember that I have a registered copy?

 Thanks for a great program,

Yes, it will remember your settings (it does not delete the ini file).  You can also download the upgrade which will not require that you uninstall.

I would prefer to download the upgrade and use that rather than uninstall.

Where will I find the upgrade? I do not see it on the site.

It's located at the same places as the full version.  See your registration email.

There's no upgrade option for the demo.

Thanks for help. I found my registration e-mail and suucessfully downloaded and installed the upgrade.

I did have one little glitch. My download manager , Download Accelerator Plus (DAP), would only download the header of the ZIP file. I had to turn off the download manager to download the full ZIP file. I remember now that I had the same problem when I initially downloaded the production version. I do not remember if it was a problem with the previous update. I have never had any problems using DAP except at the TOPOFUSION site.

 Thanks again,
