GPS Communications Screen

The online manual shows the GPS communications screen with 3 choices; merge active log to single track, download saved tracks and merge saved tracks + active log to single track. I only get two options; follow download in map and add tracks to logbook. Why?

Also, is there a way to just download the active log?

Because the manual is a bit out of date!  It needs an overhaul.

It's impossible for the unit to not send saved tracks, so you will always get them.  That check box in previous versions just threw away the saved data after the download was done.  You can do that in the next dialog screen (remove).. or just grab/merge the active log and save it out.  You don't have to remove the saved tracks if you just select the active log and do save...
