Title: Fatal Error

I opened topofusion trial version once and it worked except the maps didn't load but I was still able to view my waypoints and elevation data. Now when I try to launch it I get "Fatal Error: Couldn't open Maps.dat for reading" I have uninstalled the program and did a full re-install and still I get the same message. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Something went haywire with your maps.dat file.  Maybe your disk was full, or somehow that file got locked and/or corrupted?

Anyway, the simple fix is to delete maps0.dat and mapindex.dat from your TopoFusion directory.  They are not removed upon uninstall/reinstall so that people don't lose their map data when upgrading to new versions.
