Drawing Tracks
« on: June 27, 2006, 03:43:11 PM »
I'm currently using version 2.85, and I've been creating tracks with the program. I've noticed something that is a bit strange. When I look at the track file I create, each point is repeated four times. Is this correct behaviour?

I'm using the Draw Track button and left clicking for each point to save. I then right click when I'm done to save the data.

Yep, I've noticed this as well.  It's really annoying when you try to move points later on.  It's just an artifact of the mouse button being held down and slightly moved.

I will see if I can do something about it.  It definitely bothers me.  Thanks.

The solution is to use a trackball!  '<img'>

I fixed this in the latest beta.  No more duplicates and also much cleaner "free-hand" tracks.  Thanks for the reminder of this problem.  It had often annoyed me but apparently not enough to fix it, until now.
