Google isn't indexing the forum?

Since the forum software doesn't seem to have a search option, I tried to search old posts using Google. No dice. Is crawling by spiders perhaps turned off with a robots.txt? If so, it'd be valuable to let the crawlers in and get the forums indexed.

There should be a "Search" button at the top of every forum page.  I see three buttons, "search", "members" and "help" at the top right.
