Topofusion and Delorme PN-20

I just bought this GPS unit and it offers the ability to upload maps.  With raster based maps, it looks like they just need to be "registered" in their X-Map program, and then any map can be uploaded.  Would this work with Topofusion?  I'd love to have the sat maps on my handheld, and not have to pay for them.

Agreed, this would be sweet - but at present I don't know a way to do it.

I haven't looked into it yet, but my guess is the registration is proprietary so as to protect their interests.  But, someone may be able to figure out the protocol and get images uploading.

Probably just a matter of time...
