Wow. Awesome ride today in the mountain park. I had my doubts as to whether I’d be able to use phrases like “I feel strong” or “I feel good” after destroying myself on the AZT300/KTR/GLR/CT this year (some very long races and rides). Today I was using those phrases every few minutes.

St. George

I was able to get time off from my boss (self) to make a trip to St. George. It was “for” thanksgiving, but I was actually on the road, returning, on Thanksgiving proper. Great day to travel, if you ask me.

AZT Weekend

Spent the weekend camping out at Colossal Cave. There were two work events which means mucho new trail. Soon we’ll have continuous singletrack from Highway 83 at Sahuarita Road to Saguaro National Park. Just a few more work events and this last piece in Colossal Cave will be complete.

Backtracking

Very little writing lately. Much more reflection.
