Summer

We’re off to Frank Church for a summer of backpacking and mapping trails for the forest service. We’ll be checking email at least weekly, so our responses won’t be nearly as quick.

There are a couple of known issues in the current release of TopoFusion:

1 – There is a major bug in the network code that will cause it to crash if ‘show construction’ or ‘show reduction’ is checked. Uncheck them for now to use the network code. This has to do with a new segment splitting feature we just added.

2 – Reading .TXF file has a bug that will give an access violation. Maptech reading is out for now.

The problems have been fixed and we will be releasing a new version the next time we have some internet access. Thanks for your patience. If you need a fix we can email you a patch to take care of these issues, but, again it will have to wait until we get back on the internet again.

We can’t wait to get up and explore the backcountry. It’s going to be a long and tiring summer–but all worthwhile. At least we’re not going into it dead tired. Oh, wait, we’ve racked up two 9 hour mountain bike rides in the last four days. The last nearly destroyed us all. It was a good time.
